My name is Leslee McGehee and I teach 7th grade science at Palestine Middle School. I have a group of 8th graders for my advisory period and we are starting a garden!
We are at the very beginning of our project and we have a LOT of work to do!
Day 1 and 2
I announced the news to my class yesterday and we took at look at all of the tasks that we need to accomplish. We made a list of "chores" and the kids brainstormed about the different plants they want to grow.
Today we got our hands dirty! Even though we had limited tools all the kids worked hard.
My crew! As you can see, we have a long way to go! I am so excited about this project!
